Wow!! Ben's Cookies have GOT to be the best cookies I've ever tasted!!

Happy circumstance brought us in the path of Ben's - as we were walking along Oxford Street & needing something to fortify us as we continued our shopping extravaganza, a cookie seemed in order

Still warm, these babies were crunchy on the outside, soft & batter-like on the inside.....THIS is exactly how I like to cook my own cookies & Ben's has it down pat.

Mrs Fields never stood a chance

Skawooshy-bloop go the huge lumps of chocolate.... Milk Chocolate Chunk for me; Ginger Chunk for Sis & those chunks were indeed just that!

We stopped back by on our way back to the Tube for 6 more....but it's buy 5 get 2 free

      ALL declared yummiliscious:
      Lemon
      White Chocolate Chunk Macadamia
      Triple Chocolate Chunk
      Hazelnut Praline
Another Ginger & Another Milk Choc Chunk

      Woohoo!!

Omg so good! A few friends who had visited London recommended Ben's cookies and they are a must. You can choose from a bunch of cookies--my favorites were the chocolate chip and orange and the chocolate chip and peanut butter. And if you want you can add ice cream.

The cookies are pretty hefty and you can ask for them to be warmed up!

I had to order 50 cookies for a client meeting and I decided Ben's Cookies is a safe option as its locally popular and reasonably priced. 3 of my clients recognized the brand and were absolutely thrilled so I was really happy with that!

When you walk up to the window to order, the store itself is a tiny space. I was also a little frantic that they may not be able to fulfill my large quantity order since it was such a small location and I needed it immediately (I didn't call ahead of time for pick up), but there were plenty to choose from. The cookies are freshly displayed on the glass counter and they are bigger sized than a normal store bought cookie! I ordered at least 2 of non-traditional flavours, like Ginger, and at least 5 of the Milk Chocolate Chip and Peanut Butter. The cookies just melt in your mouth and has a nice soft filling! If the cookie contains a topping like White Macadamia, there is a big piece of it in the middle, the perfect cookie to topping ratio.

They have discount deals depending on the amount you buy. Ben's Large Box is buy 10, get 5 free for under £18. There is also Ben's Box which will be 5, plus 2 free.

This service at this location went above and beyond. Because I was buying so many cookies, the server charged me for the smaller Box instead of the large box. She even labeled the boxes so I knew which cookies were in each box. The only negative was that the cookie consistency wasn't the same - most of them were soft, but there was one that was undercooked and raw in the middle. I didn't eat all 50 myself, but I prayed that mine was the only unlucky one in the batch!

Cookie Monster was not impressed. They told me the milk chocolate was their best. It was dry and flavor was average. The other 3 in our group all were underwhelmed.

Looking for a Levain Bakery (New York) experience. After eating one of theirs, nothing has come close. Love to find a mind blowing cookie in London.

Being in London for a couple of days, I had to try out this cookies, which look (according to reviews) to be one of the best brand in town.
Ive tried the milk chocolate peanut butter one. I really enjoyed it particularly for the price (1.50 pounds per unit).
What a pity that most of cookies on the shelf are either with milk chocolate or white chocolate. Only one is with dark chocolate but I did not pick that one because it was too simple for me.
Would be nice if they could incorporate new flavours such as banana walnuts, or green tea and cranberries :)

Kind of hard to find. The cookies are fresh and tasty. They're not oily like most bakeries, which is nice. The price of the cookies is about the going rate. Goes well with my tea.

The cookies here are as good as any Ben's Cookies branch i.e. excellent, melt-in-the-mouth experiences that are unlike anything else on the market. They're not overly sweet, just circular mounds of warm, soft, semi-cooked cookie dough.

The only thing that irked me slightly about this branch was a 40p surcharge when paying by card. That's a pretty significant surcharge when a single cookie costs £1.40. Basically, make sure you have cash if you're in the area and in the mood for a cookie fix.

Otherwise though, as reliably good as ever.

I find Ben's cookies have a tiny time window where they are actually good.
When you get a hot one it just melts everywhere and sticks to the bag and it isn't very good, when they get cold and the chocolate pieces harden they taste just really too sweet. You have to find the ones that have had enough time to get a crunchy exterior and gooey pieces of chocolate. And even then, they are still not the best cookies I've ever had, though still good if you like this kind of cookies.

5+ STARS FOR BEN'S COOKIES!!! I seriously love this place and desperately wish they would cross the Atlantic to an American hometown near us! I had 3-4 total cookies during my week stay in England. PLEASE visit any one of these chain locations throughout town to experience a cookie you will not soon/ever forget. They sell cookies based on weight, but you essentially pay 1.30-1.50 pounds for a single cookie. It is large and gooey and soft and oh so good. I seriously have eaten a ton of cookies in my life, and consider myself a cookie aficionado. This is without a doubt in the top few on my list of best cookies ever eaten in 24 years of life.
