Our Tour of London
This is a big city, but walking is definitely doable. So get out there, and do it! It is a beautiful city with lots of great things, people, and structures to see. If you have time to walk around, you should. Otherwise, get an Oyster Card to use as a pay-as-you-go transportation card that you can buy and add credit to at essentially any public transportation station.

Justin’s 5-star review: This is a very neat old venue hosting Les Miserables. Both the theatre and the show are top notch, and would be a shame to not visit for one or both. The limited site tickets are certainly fine here as you save a ton of dough and can still see everything in the show by leaning slightly forward for certain moments. Thank you, London performing arts, for this delightful experience! -
Justin’s 5-star review: This is possibly my favorite structure in London. Just the elegance and grandeur of a bridge across the Thames in the centre of London did it for me. The bridge is massive, and beautifully constructed to portray elegance and fortitude. And possibly the massive Olympic rings hanging down in the middle while we were there left an impression on me, too. This bridge leaves me in awe of those who came before me. -
Justin’s 5-star review: I loved this gelato at an affordable price! Both my wife and I had a cone we enjoyed thoroughly. We would gladly stop back through here anytime we are in the Soho area. You get plenty of gelato for the price you pay, and it is nice and thick. -
Justin’s 5-star review: The only thing I didn't like about this place was the price. It is about 4 pounds per slice. They typically do pizza by the slice, but you can order a half or whole pie as well. It's worth a stop if you are in the area. I don't drink, but they seemed to be keen on their beverages, too. This place must be owned/started by Americans because it has America exuding from its atmospheric fibers. The pizza tastes very relative to your Chicago deep dish style, it just is not as thick. About a medium sized thickness, but very tasty stuff. -
Justin’s 5-star review: This is a very neat, old building full of history. We did not go inside, but it was well worth the walk around the outside to view its grandeur and imagine what it must have been like back in the day. I believe it is still used today to protect important things. Cool, old school fort action right next to the river. -

Justin’s 5-star review: 5+ STARS FOR BEN'S COOKIES!!! I seriously love this place and desperately wish they would cross the Atlantic to an American hometown near us! I had 3-4 total cookies during my week stay in England. PLEASE visit any one of these chain locations throughout town to experience a cookie you will not soon/ever forget. They sell cookies based on weight, but you essentially pay 1.30-1.50 pounds for a single cookie. It is large and gooey and soft and oh so good. I seriously have eaten a ton of cookies in my life, and consider myself a cookie aficionado. This is without a doubt in the top few on my list of best cookies ever eaten in 24 years of life. -
Justin’s 4-star review: This was a delicious pizza for a decent price! Like a before reviewer said, the pizza is very wet and does need some utensil use at first, but that is not really a major issue since the taste is good. The restaurant was reasonably full the whole time we were there, and that is saying something considering so many restaurants have empty seats regularly during the week. It was strange that they assumed I was tipping 2.50 pounds for my 7.50 pizza when I paid with a 10. I would have gladly given a tip for the service and pizza, but was a bit disappointed they did not provide me the opportunity to do so.
