11/8/2019Finally got the try this place! Solid coffee. I was going to be basic and order the pumpkin latte but then realized they have mazapan and horchata lattes! Ended up getting the mazapan because I'd just had an horchata earlier.
Really liked mazapan! I need to try the horchata one next time. Service was a little slow because there was only 1 girl working but she was super friendly and apologetic about the wait. - Blanca R.San Francisco, United States103 friends1 review4 photos
12/9/2019This is my first Yelp review I've ever written and this coffee shop deserves it! This is one of SF's hidden gem for coffee! The latte's, cappuccino's, americanos, & coffee are so good! I stoped going to Peet's & Starbucks for my coffee. It's not super expensive & the baristas are very friendly & open to questions. The Lavender Latte is the most popular & my favorite as well. Check it out if you are in the Excelsior district!

I came here since I was waiting in the area. 3 stars for the latte. Extra star for good service. The barista/server was happy to let me know the most popular drinks here, the horchata and lavender latte. I'm not a fan of horchata and wasn't feeling adventurous enough to try the lavender so I went with the nutella latte with soy milk. Tasted like chocolate milk for adults. Could have used a slightly stronger taste of coffee. Plus for my latte coming out piping hot - some places don't make their drinks hot enough.
If I'm in the area, I would come back to try a different latte. - Lisa S.San Francisco, United States21 friends85 reviews308 photos

I just fell into this low-profile Excelsior coffee shop after eating a quick lunch at The Salad Place nearby (review: bit.ly/2HZKz9N). It was a perfectly reasonable spot for some caffeine as there were plenty of small tables to nurse a $4.25 Latte (photo: bit.ly/2jIdFw5). I only realized later that they offer eight variations on lattes on their menu, but the plain one was fine by me. They have the requisite baked goods in their display case (photo: bit.ly/2Il81Op) and a small sandwich menu just in case none of the neighboring taquerias don't suit your fancy. I guess they get their name from the automatic double shot they put into every espresso drink. This was one of my more economical reviews because why pontificate when you don't have to, right?
COFFEE - 4 stars...thought the latte was well executed here
AMBIANCE - 3 stars...small but clean and away from the Mission noise
SERVICE - 3.5 stars...friendly enough
TOTAL - 4 stars...nice caffeine option in an unexpected area - Erik R.San Mateo, United States1 friend23 reviews28 photos

This is a great neighborhood coffeehouse and a great addition to the Excelsior. Great sandwiches and pastries and, of course, espresso served by a great and friendly staff.
Funny thing about finding this place. I had just finished up at the Auto-Zone and wanted espresso. I pull out yelp app and do a search. Nothing new turned up and I thought I would walk a couple blocks to my favorites. Seriously, I'm standing right across the street from it and it doesn't appear in the search results! Lesson...look around. Thanks. - Yvette T.San Francisco, United States58 friends44 reviews3 photos
14/9/2019Great neighborhood gem! I love their lavender latte, horchata latte, and chai tea latte. Fast friendly service, too!

21/7/2018Terrible service. After placing my order I was asked several times what I wanted(mind you I was sitting at my table).
20 minutes and an empty cafe later I get my bagel. Average.
Another 15 minutes later and a finished bagel, I get my smoothie.......... More like an ICEE with pieces of unblended fruit. PURE ICE AND FRUIT!
My sister orders a chicken sandwich; a good 30 minutes of waiting I finished eating and she gets her sandwhich with 7 pieces of large bulky lettuce and 3 pieces of what looks like costso salad chicken, along with a "smoothie" yet again a large piece of colored ice with a faint taste of fruit.

Oh my! I love this coffee spot. I got one of my favorites. A lavender latte with a hint of mint and substitute coconut milk! I have to say this place is the only place that good my flavor taste buds just right off the request! I didn't even have to say anything. It was all in the magic hands of the barista that took my order and made it just the way I fathom. So satisfying and electrifying! Wow. Not too sweet at all. The flavors were also very robust and strong another plus. I love love love my coffee drink! I will be coming here again whenever I'm in the mood for a great coffee drink.
I also got the veggie bagel which is phenomenal. It comes with avocado, cucumbers, red onion, tomatoes and cream cheese for $4.50! Suggestion: got the bagel carved inside, so it doesn't have a lot of carbs.

Super cute cafe. Each time I've came here service has been very friendly. My friend ordered a sandwich with the avocado on the side (he doesn't eat it but I will) and the person working even remembered that! The sandwich is huge so it is good bang for your buck! I regularly enjoy the matcha lattes as well.

23/10/2018Came here in a hurry during my lunch break, and ordered a Abuelita's Hot Chocolate and a Clubhouse Sandwich (turkey, bacon, avocado,...etc).
First of all, there was a line and I was a little hesitant because I didn't wanna be late back to work.
However, the staff got through the line quickly and and I got my food and back to work on time. Friendly customer service, homely vibes, and tasty food for the area. I would recommend to friends if you find yourself in the Excelsior district.
Other pluses, good music, WiFi, and horchata lattes - Rentería A.San Jose, United States0 friends2 reviews1 photo
13/5/2019Their mazapán latte is so good! Better hot than cold. Great cafe vibes and baristas are so nice! Also, great music in the cafe if you're into Spanish indie music like Carla Morrison or Latin rock.

Cool coffee place! It's a pretty new cafe so I definitely wanted to try it out.
Customer service was great' They were helpful and kind.
I ordered a lavender latte with coconut milk for about $5 which makes sense because it's SF. The presentation was super cute and I think they put lavender leaves or seeds or something on top.
The lavender was a syrup which I'm slowly realizing is what most cafes use when they make lavender drinks. It was the old reliable Torani kind and it had a lovely flavor!
I didn't love the coconut milk but that's my fault for ordering that. I think I wanted to be trendy but i should have just gotten actual milk... You would like it if you like coconut! :)
The wifi was reliable, the atmosphere was cute, enough space for people to meet up and study (they had outlets).

19/4/2019I ordered a $5 iced coffee and it was like I ordered some coffee with my Ice.
Too expensive, go to Cumaica a block over. - T-Bone L.San Francisco, United States115 friends742 reviews139 photos
3/4/2019Updated reviewWent in for an iced coffee and it was very bitter and obviously had oxidized so it was not fresh. The price was on par with a cold brew but I don't think it was cold brew due to the acidity.
16/3/2018Previous reviewPleasant service. Very good selection of tea and baked goods. I have not had the coffee yet. But I will be back!

26/1/2019So apparently this place is delicious and I don't doubt it but my cousin just had to cancel my bagel order because the girl was literally face-timing and texting on her phone WHILE making my sandwich she even took the phone to the table where they MAKE the food and was typing away while making the bagel so in the middle of her doing that my cousin told her to forget it due to the fact that our cell phones have so much BACTERIA. She apologized but it was a little too late and a little too gross for her to let me eat the bagel. Anyways not a HUGE deal to NEVER come back here again BUT they should definitely educate the employees a little bit more about sanitation and handling food.

27/10/2018This coffee spot is amazing. The best you'll find in the mission. If your going for a quick coffee run, I recommend this place.

25/3/2019I ordered just a regular coffee that was apparently an Ethiopian blend. This was the worst coffee I've had in a while as it tasted like the burnt leftovers from the previous day. My guess is that they're brewing their coffee incorrectly. I'll give em another shot but common, they should know how to properly brew coffee with the right water to coffee ratio.
