The Victoria (or the Vic as it most commonly known) along with the Emporium superclub in Coalville town centre are probably the two best known venues in Coalville which people from across the country come to visit. The Vic is recognised as one of the best biker pubs in the entire UK having won many awards over the years.

There is always something happening at the Vic, live music is guaranteed almost every night. As it is a biker pub, it caters to a predominantly rock music crowd, but there is a huge diversity in the types of bands that play here, from acoustic inger-songwriters to the heaviest death metal and everything in between.

The Vic also hosts some of the most well known cover bands from across the World one of the best examples would be Mentallica (world famous Metallica covers band). These acts generally carry a charge, so if you don't want to see them but go to the pub, you will only be able to sit in the front area of the bar or in the beer garden. The more well known cover bands tend be what are put on at the weekend, while original acts play during the week.

The Vic also holds specialist biker nights and provides a camping facilty (at a small charge) for those who want to stay over for the night when travelling or when they hold events. They also serve a good selection of food at very respectable prices, you can get anything frm a full day breakfast to Vegetarian options throughout the day. They also do an excellent curry night that is fantastic value!

They tend to hold special events throughout the year, which often have live music on all day. The bar is well stocked and you can get everything from your standard ales to less well known brands. Service is usually swift and prices are average, you can get cheaper pints at places like Weathespoons but they tend to be cheaper than the more pricey modern bars in town. There is also a pool table for those who fancy a game.

There really isn't another place like the Vic in the area, if you are at all into rock music or bikes, this is the pub for you.
