Went to meet a friend - decided on afternoon tea...not an easy thing to find in Paris, but OK...we rang - they don't take bookings...we said 3ish...they said should be ok...it was, just...soon after they were queuing outside
I Russian, 2 Earl Grey; a sugary tart, a lemon tart and the Devon Scones & jam (no cream, butter please)
The tea was OK, the 2 tarts also, but woe is me, alas alack...what were these tiny little soft things...good that they had already been sliced in half...not sure I could have managed that without them disintegrating...and it would take more energy to do so than gained in calories; and a tinier "pot" of jam, if that's what it was. Laughable. Oh, and the butter was one of those little Anchor things in foil...do they really still make those...it could have been something decent - you do get excellent butter in France...what was that all about!?
Frankly, ok except for the so called scones - done it once, no point in returning
€40.80 - no tip needed...except perhaps leaving a recipe for scones
(The tourists behind us just kept on ordering; I think they were working their way through the whole menu; must have been hungry)Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Moon D.Issaquah, United States1036630524 Jul 2019

Stopped by to try based on reviews, and thought it was a nice tea room, but that was about it. The atmosphere was cozy and it was nice sitting by the open window overlooking the street. Nothing really wowed about the teas, although presentation was nice. We tried both their scones and it was good, but again nothing to write home about. I think if you're an enthusiast it's worth to check out but wouldn't recommend going out if your way for it.

I ran into The Tea Caddy while strolling through Paris for the day, and I was not disappointed! The tea room was quiet with only one other party present (it wasn't the busy part of the day for them yet), and I very quickly got my glass of iced tea and plate of salmon. Everything was delicious, and the staff was very warm and welcoming.
Not to mention their MAGNIFICENT toiletry!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Lissette V.Los Angeles, United States6116916719 Dec 2017
My first dining experience in Paris that was actually filled with locals, opposed to tourists.
This place felt a lot of authentic then the other dining options in the area. They had only a french menu, and the waitress only spoke french.
The Tea Caddy is so cute and cozy, a perfect spot for "brunch."
Get the scones, you won't regret it.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - anna p.Camarillo, United States06511 Oct 2015

While the food and drink is ok the service is abominable with the waitress yelling at us because we dare asking for the menu. Then the actual ordering and delivery takes forever. Typical parisianisme place with zero quality of service.
