Loved this place! We arrived early so it was fairly empty but that allowed us very personal service from Olympia, the bar tender. We started with the Old Pal and Bratapfel which were winter specialties both excellent and perfect winter cocktails. She then recommended two more, off-menu cocktails based on our tastes. Great experience all around!

I'll make this nice and simple:

1. Yes, this is a smoker's bar, but that doesn't mean you should not turn on the AC or ventilation system. We reeked like an ashtray after just a few minutes in there.

2. Don't you ever serve Riesling with ice and charge €7,50 for a teeny weenie glass of it -- that's just wrong.

3. What kind of a bar doesn't have small plates and little forks or spoons ready? The excuse "we're just a bar" is absolutely unacceptable. If there's a birthday at your place you must have such things ready.

Say what you want, I'll give this place another year max...if they'll make it that long.

Just another hipster spot pushing gentrification forward.

AVOID THIS PLACE IF YOU CAN!

Suited for smokers , good drinks, kind of speakeasy .
