The Locals Cafe

Matcha pancakes 5.34/10- this was actually very bitter, the inside was very spongy. There was hardly any matcha caramel on top in addition to white chocolate. The sauce in between is like a bitter blackberry sauce.. not what I was expecting for pancakes as it's more of a sweet dessert rather than savory.

Cappuccino 0.1/10- I needed coffee but half spilled in my delivery and it was cold.

We were really excited for this order as this restaurant looked really good and had a good amount of high reviews. Their food looked great however they didn't even put edible flowers on the pancakes and it was not as tasty as we hoped for.

Breakfast menu has plenty of great options. Servers were kind and came quickly! WiFi was strong. Prices are somewhere between fair and pricy.

10/10 food, service, and a beautiful space! Definitely a must try. Especially the burger!

Shashuka was AMAZING!!!! We didn't book a seat, but was seated immediately. The staff was attentive without being weird (although I am). Mike, our staff, was great! Gave good suggestions and ensured we had an excellent meal. Super FRESH FOOD! Thank you!

Top quality everything with great atmosphere

The Locals is definitely one of the best brunch places in London. The food is absolutely delicious. The ingredients are extremely fresh. A majority of the menu items are healthy. It's a great place for vegetarians and vegans! They also have a large selection of pastries and hot drinks. Their lattes, hot chocolate and fresh juices are lovely. One of the favourite items on the menu is the Mushroom and Truffle scrambled eggs and the avocado toast with poached eggs. My partner absolutely loved the food and he's extremely picky. He ordered the Salmon Benedict and he loved it. The service is also great! The decor and atmosphere is another plus. Overall, you will not regret it.

A unique mix of flavor. Very healthy and gluten free friendly! The service was spectacular and the cafe brings in a very pleasant crowd. A bit pricey, but you pay for a great experience and delicious food. I recommend the skinny eggs!

Totally off the beaten path but that's what I love about it - it's for locals (but close enough for adventurous tourists in the Victoria area to check out if they're tired of the pedestrian eateries near the station). I really like this spot and I'm confident it'll be a big deal and hope that I won't have to start having to queue for brunch (yeah, I know I totally will...).

Personally, I enjoyed my experience at The Locals Cafe. The staff treats you very posh and they seem genuinely nice.
I wouldn't give it a 5star review though, because I feel like, it still needs a few improvements.
But I still enjoyed it, none the less.

This place is sooo good. The Breakfast and coffee are awesome. Definitely a hidden gem tucked away.
