Monkey Threads

I always stop by Monkey Threads when I come to Puerto Rico! Their designs are much nicer than what you would find at your typical tourist shop. The quality of their clothing is also something I appreciate--they're so soft!
My only complaints is that some of the graphics feel like they were printed on using a low image file and are slightly blurry. I also wish that there were sweater options for women that weren't cropped--I would prefer to be able to crop it to the perfect length for myself.

Love this store! Monkey threads has unique tshirts, hats and souvenirs unlike others in PR! Shopped at Monkey Threads twice during our week long trip. Shirts, hats and and sun shirts were the best we found - something for everyone. Thank you for your well thought out selection of apparel with PR and Luquillo Beach. We love this store! Wish you had bought yourself something on your trip, check out their website. Many selections available. Also, they are all about community, check out their message posting inside the store in support Paradise Rescue PR needing Flight Angels to assist with the transport of rescued animals from PR to the mainland. What an awesome little place to buy souvenirs to bring home! The T shirts are great quality, and the ladies who run the store are so nice!!!

Very nice little clothing store. The shirts are so soft and seem very high quality. I got a T-shirt, my mon got a sweatshirt, and we love them. Spend the little extra to get a shirt here than somewhere with less quality. Staff was so nice too. Talked to us about our day, asked us questions, and made us feel welcome.

Such an awesome local clothing place! We bought a couple of super soft and cute shirts. The girl who was working the store that day (I don't remember a name).. was amazing. She gave us excellent advice and tips for our visit, and you could tell she loves what she does. And they have a website where you can check out the merchandise!

If you find yourself driving past the kiosks in Luquillo, definitely pop-in at Monkey Threads! Awesome selection of high quality T's, tanks and hats... not to mention, they have Hawaiian t-shirts for smaller dogs, be proceeds benefit rescuing stray pups in the area. The owners are super friendly and offered up some great advice for places to check out on the island. Definitely worth a stop!

Not only did I love the T-shirt I bought for my daughter so much I went back for a sweatshirt for me, but the team there is amazing! I lost my purse over the course of the night! They not only checked the store but checked the last bar I was at while I drove back and spread the word down the street to keep an eye out. Above and beyond helpful!!!! Like having a team of my friends from home watching out for me!

If you are looking for a gift to take home with you or something for yourself to remember your trip to Puerto Rico, this is your spot! All their t-shirts and apparel are locally made, high quality, comfy and something you will actually wear regularly, unlike most gimmicky t-shirt shops. The owners are super friendly and helpful with what to do on the island and they even support helping rescue local stray pups. A must see if you are in the kioskos, in Luquillo or on your way in or out of the rainforest!
