This is my first trip to EU (I know "lame"; I'm too old) but I barely speak French. I dl-ed some translation apps but really, it's very difficult... This was the first restaurant I went to that felt very welcoming to me. Waitress was super proactive in helping me translate.
I had delicious "spicy" pork w/ garlic potatoes. OMG - so heavy and good. She then recommended the choco lava cake that comes with coconut ice cream. Umm..yes pls!
I rarely post on Yelp so this restaurant really touched me w/ their food and kindness.

First day in Paris on a Sunday. Most restaurants not serving food. Found this place. GREAT service. Wonderful escargot.

Don't know if it's just me eating in France for the very first time, but I just about cried when I put the Camembert cheese in my mouth on fresh baguette. If you're two people, get the Camembert salad with a beer or white wine and split a main course. You will not regret it! The boeff bourguignon is exceptional as well as the poulet d'indienne with basmati rice. Unbelievable value!

We just rented an apartment in Paris for two weeks, a convenient one block walk to Le Brio. We were there nearly every day, getting a coffee or lunch and also had one dinner there. When the weather is nice, it is nearly always packed at the outdoor tables, which have heat lamps, in case it gets chilly. The manager during the week is super kind, friendly and accommodating. They have delicious salads and other excellent offerings. Good coffee ,too.
