This restaurant was right next to our hotel Corrallo so we wondered over for dinner. Our waiter spoke great English and was very interesting and fun. Food was incredible. Honestly it was one of our first meals in Italy and one of our best and by far the best shrimps I've had anywhere!

Please do yourself a favor, and make a dinner reservation for 8:00 if you're traveling in the summer time. While on our Honeymoon, we ate here for a special dinner. Prices are a bit higher than other Sant'Angello restaurants, but the views, quality of food and service make it worth every euro.
We came in at 8:00 with a table right up against the open (yet roof covered) restaurant for an aperitif before sunset. The views are incredible. While sipping our drinks we watched the sun sink directly into the sea in front of us- talk about a moment! After cocktails, we had our dinner service started. We ordered a bottle of wine, and the Capri All'Insalata for us to share. There were no issues splitting the salad. For entrees my husband opted for the gnocchi (his favorite), and I chose the mixed grilled fish dish. He declared his gnocchi as "ok"- more consistent with potato dumplings, but he was happy. The mixed grilled fish gave me a chance to try a small portion of each of the fishes on the menu. I was satisfied with my choice as everything tasted fresh; minimally prepared with salt, pepper, lemon and olive oil.
For dessert we split the Cilindro al Limone which was a fresh and light choice to end the meal. The presentation of all the plates was spectacular, you can tell they pay attention to detail! This is an excellent choice for a nicer dinner option, or, simply for an aperitif to enjoy at sunset.

This place also has a beach club to use during the day!

Hidden treasure. Do not miss! Hotels will NOT recommend because they don't get "kickback".... it's THE best food and the best price! Absolutely delicious and views to die for! I must say again - hidden treasure do not miss. Staff is so friendly. Everything divine!

Our best meal yet! Divine! Excellent - NOT a tourist trap. Hidden treasure.

We stayed across the street at the Hotel Mediterranean Sorrento so it was an easy walk to the lift down to the restaurant and beach. The staff was professional and courteous and showed the perfect amount of attentiveness. We arrived at around 1910 and we didn't have reservations so they seated us inside with a nice table looking out at the incredible view. It was slightly cool and when a party of 6 arrived they would have been seated between us and the window but they requested an inside table. The staff then rolled down the shades which made our view of the sunset blurred. I would have preferred they keep it open for the unobstructed view and fresh air. We had the cod appetizer which was incredible. For our main course we had the grilled sea bass which they bring to the table whole then filet it table side. They accompanied it with 4 incredible sauces. The flavor was wonderful and It melted in your mouth. Some of the best sea bass I've ever had and I'm 62 years old and I've been to Europe over 500 times. We had a small side salad of fresh greens and a light vinaigrette dressing. We were full and didn't order desert but they brought a small plate of complimentary treatsThe only negative of the wonderful meal and experience was when I tried to use my American Express they didn't except it. Fortunately as we were staying across the street I ran back to get my Visa card. After the day in Capri which was absolutely wonderful the restaurant was the icing on the cake. We have 3 more nights so I hope to convince my lovely wife that we must return.

This place is a hidden treasure. The food and service are exceptional. We had the sea bass grilled whole fish for two. The whole dinner was 60 E for two with salad, two sides, appetizer and dessert. With a 16 E local bottle of red wine an excellent meal. They gave champagne an a starter appetizer in addition at no charge. Our hotel should have made a reservation for us so that we could have sat on the patio outside. Highly recommend. The staff was incredible.
