When Crackerz was first coming into the building, my coworkers and I did not know what to expect. Soon we discovered it was a cell phone servicing location.
This was perfect since I needed a phone unlocked so it can be used in other countries.
The rate they charged me was compareable as the rates in Richmond, minus the drive. I was expecting to pay $40, but was charged $35+tax. This would have been the exact same rate as locations in Richmond.
The one thing I would comment about is time. In Richmond I was able to have a phone unlocked and ready to go in 30 minutes. At Crackerz it was going to take a few hours. However, where in Richmond I had to leave my phone at the store and go back to pick it up, Crackerz would call me with the code I need.
Other than that, I received great service.

My daughter woke up and the screen on her phone was black. She couldn't get it to turn on. I searched the internet and the instructions were to do a reboot by pressing the volume up button and the power button at the same. time Nothing happened so we jumped in the car and went to the Telus store that sold us our Iphone13's. The clerk was of no assistance and told us to go to the Apple Store or to Crackerz. We decided to go to Crackerz and I am so happy that we made that decision. Such a positive experience. In mere seconds my daughters phone was working.......it seems the process that I tried to reboot the phone was incorrect. The Crackerz employee's reboot worked. The lovely lady (man I wish I had gotten her name) checked the battery on the phone to ensure it had a good charge as well and how much memory was available. Everything looked great. When I asked how much, I was told no charge. I was so appreciative. I will definitely utilize this business with any future technology challenges. Outstanding service.

After researching pricing for a cracked iPad screen, I found I could get it fixed at less than half the cost Crackerz wanted.

Worst Customer Service ever. How that Business went downhill so fast. Bossy, rude Manager! I will never support them again. She kept stepping over my conversation, and did the same with another customer. Yikes!!

my iPhone 7 had audio damaged and they said they could fix it. When I brought it in for repair instead of fixing it they made the problem worse and said they damaged it but it still could be used for everything else but text and cell calls. They told me to take it to apple and see if they could fix it the internet portion that was damaged by them. We took the phone to Apple and they said nothing was working. I've contacted the store twice to get a written answer to what they did but they won't respond.
Do not take your phones to this store. I'm sure they can fix things but when they damage or make things worse they won't step to the plate. Next step is BBB and take to the internet to let everyone know.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0Business owner information

Rem, I'm sorry to hear that this was your result of using our service. We're here to fix your problems, not create more. When I tell somebody we can fix something, I'm fully confident that we can. It's just that sometimes with electronic devices, there are problems that are unforeseen and don't come to the forefront until the work is started. This place has ZERO customer service. Sat at an empty display table 3rd person in the store, a lady at the counter and one other gentleman ahead of me. The girl at the counter didn't acknowledge me, I assumed due to her trying to help the customer at the counter. Turns out she was merely having a conversation with an old teacher. A fourth customer came in and was immediately served. The gentleman ahead of me was helped next. Surely she wasn't blind and could see that I had been waiting patiently and out of her way before the other customers that had come in AFTER me.... another person came in after me and again was served, all the while she didn't even acknowledge I was there. I finally got up and left.
Prior to going in, I called from work and got a vmail which said no one was there to take the call. I drove by to physically check store hours as sometimes they are listed incorrectly online. I found the place not only to be open, but to have 3 people working, and only 2 customers inside, one waiting, and one being served.

I'd been having some difficulty with my iPad. I mentioned this to a coworker, and she mentioned that she'd had several positive experiences with Crackerz. I called them today, and spoke with Ron. Long story short, my iPad is back on the road. I can't say enough about Ron, who really went above and beyond for me. It's the sort of customer service we just don't see anymore.

So disappointed with my experience at this store. I brought in my phone with a broken screen but a perfectly fine working home button. After they changed the screen the home button stopped working. They put my cracked screen back on and the home button still wasn't working. Then when I became frustrated that my phone was now in worse condition that what I brought it in they said "I could be lying" which is insulting. They gave me a refund but no compensation for my now more damaged phone that I cannot use and took no responsibility.
