We finally found a restaurant in London with great service and friendly staff. The standout was our breakfast server, Eve! What a joyful person! She made a great meal wonderful! Thank you Eve.
AND.....the food was amazing. Two of us had the Croque Monsier and it defies description. SO goood. The waffles coated in chocolate made our adult son grin all day, and even the coffees were all noteworthy. The three other meals we had at that time were all very very good also. We wanted to go back the next day, but they didn't open til ten (Saturday) and our train left at 10. Bummer. Highly recommended!
And if you so desire, there are mountains of mouth watering bakery items downstairs. Everything looked delicious. Too bad I had already gained my 5 vacation pounds.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Sam K.Tallahassee, United States128191 Jun 2023
We had two delicious tart ones, one with goat cheese and a second with goat cheese and cured ham. Both were excellent. The blueberry added a nice touch.
Excellent tea of course and a latte with oat milk. All excellent.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - 22 Jul 2022
Charcuterie meats and cheese platter 7.65/10- absolutely loved the prosciutto and duck confit as well as the different cheeses. The salami was a bit hard which I didn't like as much. I wish they gave more bread as there was not enough
Cheese and Caramelized pear tartine 6.87/10- this was delicious, the sweet flavor of the pear was perfect when paired with the cheese (mozzarella I believe) I wish the cheese was warm however
Goat cheese and honey tartine: also pictured
Elderflower lemonade 9.23/10- so refreshing, the floral notes were a great addition to the lemonade and the drink was incredibly crispHelpful 1Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Danielle G.Lincoln, United States672529931 Dec 2022

This is my second visit to the restaurant and I am absolutely delighted! The food is fantastic, with a wide range of vegetarian options, and the toasts are truly delicious. The service is first class and the staff are friendly and welcoming. I highly recommend it!

Made my morning perfect! I was just visiting the garden area and stumbled upon this gem down the stairs near the market. I had never heard of it prior but my partner and I had the absolute best experience here! The service was incredibly friendly and helpful, and the food was some of the best breakfasts I've had in the city. I ordered a combo option where you get a hot cafe drink of choice, freshly squeezed orange juice, and a breakfast food item (poached egg on sourdough with oil) for less than £8. The prices were great and the aesthetic of the cafe made it even better. We couldn't stop thinking about the cafe for the rest of the day and made plans to go back before leaving the city. This place needs more recognition!

Very tasty French cafe in the heart of covent garden. I got a latte and the avocado on toast with an egg which was very tasty and hit the spot. Our server was great - she definitely was working really hard but she got everything right and took care of us.

Overall, pretty good for a tourist trap area. The warm open Brie and hazelnut sandwich was great. Not too pricey (£7.50) and the waiter was nice. Would go again, but not a must or anything. Served it's purpose.

We knew we would be visiting Covent Garden, and that it would be around lunchtime. We had read about Chef Antoinette (a French restaurant) on Trip Advisor and knew we had to try it. What we found was an absolutely charming restaurant to dine in. The restaurant is on the lower level of the Market Building offering seating inside and out. The interior has vaulted ceilings to give it that old age charm. The restaurant is not large, so come early or come later as we did and you will not have a problem getting a table.
Manon, our server, was so welcoming and friendly. She took the time to explain the menu to us. They offer a pre-fixe menu for lunch at £9.95 that gives you a choice of a drink, soup or salad and tartine. We both enjoyed the soup of the day which was a rich zucchini and goat cheese soup. My husband enjoyed a fresh garden salad, and I had the tartine of artichoke hummus, tomato, avocado and ham. The food was freshly prepared for us and so delicious. We highly recommend this restaurant. You will not be disappointed.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0
